We conduct our multi-engine training in well-maintained Piper Apache and Piper Aztec aircraft. These proven platforms provide real-world systems experience and are ideal for both CMEL and MEI training.
How Long does the multi-engine course take?
Our accelerated multi-engine courses typically take 3–5 days, depending on experience level, weather, and checkride availability.
Do I need any prior multi-engine time?
No prior multi-engine time is required. We tailor training to your experience level and ensure you receive the instruction needed to succeed.
Do you offer MEI training?
Yes. We offer structured MEI training focused on teaching techniques, real-world systems knowledge, and insurance-qualified time.
What are the prerequisites for CMEL training?
You must hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate, although commercial is recommended. We recommend confirming eligibility with us before scheduling.
Is housing available during training?
While we do not provide housing directly, we can recommend nearby hotels and accommodations close to Ankeny Regional Airport (KIKV).
